This blog is to offer some perspective on the China-Canada relationship from a variety of different perspectives. When it first started out, the focus was on energy and the environment, but over time, I hope it will take on a broader scope, looking at businesses, schools, researchers, government activities and people who build the bridges between these two great nations.
About Robert Earley
That’s me. I’ve been in China for 5 years, teaching English, studying Chinese, working in a consultancy, and now a Chinese Environmental NGO. I spend most of my days in meetings, writing reports, and wondering about how China can lower the carbon intensity of the transportation sector. However, in the past year, I’ve also wanted to explore more about the Canada-China relationship, specifically about what’s going on in China. What do Canadians do in China? What do we do well, and what can we do better?
